1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Zulimo Foundation, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. User Roles and Responsibilities
Zulimo Foundation has three user roles: Administrators manage the platform; Admission Officers manage student records, attendance, and grades for their assigned school; Sponsors fund students' education and receive progress updates. Each role has specific permissions and responsibilities outlined in the platform documentation.
3. Sponsorship Commitments
Sponsors commit to funding a student's education for the agreed duration. Sponsorships may be paused or ended with 30 days' written notice via the platform. Zulimo Foundation does not guarantee specific outcomes for sponsored students but ensures transparent reporting of progress.
4. Payment Terms
All payments must be made through official platform channels (Paystack or verified bank transfer). Off-platform arrangements are not covered by Zulimo Foundation's accountability framework. Payments are verified by school admission officers and reported to sponsors. Zulimo Foundation does not take a commission on sponsorship payments.
5. Privacy and Data Protection
Student personal data is protected under Nigeria's NDPR. Sponsors have access only to the students they sponsor. Student last names and personal contact details are not shared with sponsors without consent. All data is stored securely on Convex infrastructure.
6. Code of Conduct
All users must treat others with dignity and respect. Harassment, discrimination, or exploitation of any kind is grounds for immediate account suspension. Any attempt to contact sponsored students outside the platform is strictly prohibited.
7. Limitation of Liability
Zulimo Foundation serves as a facilitating platform and is not liable for actions of individual schools, officers, or sponsors. We make reasonable efforts to verify all parties but cannot guarantee outcomes. Users engage with the platform at their own discretion.
8. Changes to Terms
Zulimo Foundation reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
